Black Powder!
Kris Brown shoots his black powder pistol at the Emmaville pistol range. If you are interested in this fascinating area of firearms use, Kris will be happy to talk to you and share tips.
Goats On The Range
The Emmaville Range has regular visits from feral goats and deer, but under the range rules they are protected from being shot in exactly the same way as the native animals, roos, wallabies and birds that call the range home and seem almost to know their lives are safe there.
When shooting, it is a requirement that you be aware of any animals that may have strayed onto the range when the red flag is up, and firing is allowed, and draw the Range Officer’s attention to the fact so a ‘Cease Fire’ can be called.
