About This Shoot
Our club hosts a monthly shoot for members and guests using ex-military rifles such as LeeEnfields, SMLE’s, Mausers and the like.
The shoot consists of a 10 Shot Deliberate at 300yards which is shot prone. After this there is a 30 Shot Walk-Up, consisting of five shots prone at 300, five shots each seated and prone at 200 and then five each of standing, seated and prone at 100 yards.
Check our gallery of photos below showing shooters using good form for high scores from the various firing positions, and also taking the opportunity of shooting off the bench to tune their rifles and ammunition. Just a note on ammo - shiny brass always shoots straighter! :)
After the service rifle, a .22LR Three Positional is shot at 50 metres.
