About This shoot
Glen Innes SSAA has a very active pistol shooting membership, with a monthly Service Pistol match being one of our key competitions. The shoot follows the rules set out in the SSAA Combined Services rule book, which allows shooters to be graded and achieve awards under those rules.
If you are interested in trying pistol shooting, you are encouraged to call the shoot organiser to attend a shoot to try out shooting under the appropriate paperwork. If then you wish to get more involved, the club will be happy to help you work through the process of becoming licensed and give advice on the best kind of pistol to compete in this event.
Safety with pistol shooting is a prime concern, and you will find all club shoots are carried out with absolute concern that the rules as set by the NSW Firearms Registry, are fully adhered to.
